The 2015 Street League competition kicked off in Los Angeles was one for the books with Luan Oliviera taking first place in one of the most exciting finishes in Street League history.

It came down to the final round with Nyjah Huston in the lead with a score of 34.0, but Luis Oliveira threw an epic switch frontside bigspin heelflip to beat Huston by 0.2 of a point to take the tournament. It was an extremely close Street League and Oliveira’s winning run charged the stadium with electricity and emotion.

Here are the final results of the 2015 Street League L.A. Competition:

3. Chaz Ortiz – 33.1
4. Cody McEntire – 31.1
5. Chris Cole – 30.3
6. Kelvin Hoefler – 29.0
7. Ryan Decenzo – 28.3
8. Evan Smith – 21.5

Luis Oliviera was voted this year’s People’s Champ Skateboarder, making him the designer of this year’s course for the 2015 Street League as well. Oliviera won a silver medal in this year’s X-Games in Austin and finished 2nd in the 2014 Street League and after designing this year’s course he ended up taking first place on his personally designed park.

The next stop in the 2015 Street League Tour will be at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ on August 23rd with all of the best skaters converging once again to shred it up.
